You support EdNC everyday by reading and sharing our work. Please invest in EdNC today.

MDC is pleased to share about an opportunity for funding and participation in a learning and action network to advance learning on creating educational equity for young people with learning differences who experience further marginalization due to racism and/or poverty.

It’s called LENS – NC, which stands for Learning for Equity: A Network for Solutions.

Letters of interest are due at 11:59 p.m. December 4, 2019.  Please note that submitting a letter of interest is the preliminary step in applying to be part of the Network. Please direct any questions to [email protected].

LENS – NC is seeking a mix of participants, including community-based organizations. Please share this information with other organizations in North Carolina that you believe would be interested.

These are the sources EdNC checks every day: The New York Times, The 74, Education Week, The NC Tribune, The Insider, The News & Observer, The Charlotte Observer, WUNC, WFAE, Brookings, Education Commission of the States, and DPI’s News. A cross section of diverse sources are checked weekly and monthly. If you have an article you think needs to be included, email [email protected].
